“I love good food and cooking. My favorite dish to make is a Puerto Rican dish called pernil (pronounced pehr-neel), a flavorful roasted pork shoulder dish that I grew up eating.
I used to rap back in my teen years. I don’t do it anymore so when you see me, please don’t ask me to demonstrate.
I’m a mild sneaker collector, but I do wear most of the ones I own. My favorite pair that I have are the Jordan 1 Lost and Found.”
What Hobbies Do You Enjoy When You Are Not Working?
“I love hanging out with my wife, Christina, and my daughter Jade, who’s one. Usually, we are watching a movie, drinking some coffee at a local coffee shop or thrifting. I love playing basketball, too, when I can.”
If You Could Meet Anyone in the World, Dead or Alive, Who Would it Be and Why?
“Probably Jesus because my Christian faith is a big part of my life, and it would be great to ask Him some questions and gain some clarity/insight about things.”
What is the Best Career Lesson You’ve Learned so Far?
“You shouldn’t be too prideful to ask for help. However, at times, it’s best to try and find answers and solutions yourself rather than relying on the ‘quick answer’ of one of your colleagues. I’ve learned that this can lead to greater knowledge, problem solving skills and confidence in whatever field you’re in.”
What is a Motto That You Live by?
“Love God & love people.”
