The Quote Specialist is a fundamental role within the Apogee Team that is primarily focused on the daily processing and issuance of quotes and data entry. This entry-level role provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity for professional development, insurance education, networking, and introduction to a variety of different career paths for future advancement.


  • Data entry and creation of insurance proposals for delivery to customers
  • Give great attention to detail while providing accurate insurance proposals, ensuring that all information is correct and complete
  • Monitor and load daily submissions in AIM database
  • Help to manage Apogee’s shared Policies email inbox
  • Responsible for maintaining proper records and updated customer contracts
  • Assist account managers in the processing and servicing of issued direct billed binders and policies
  • Provide a high level of customer service in all customer and company interactions through verbal and written communication
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects, as well as reporting on results


  • This position demands an organized, self-motivated team player with the urgency, thoroughness, and time management skills to make a positive impact on our business
  • Drive for self-improvement and openness to receive feedback will unlock future potential and advancement
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in customer service or communication is preferred
  • Prior insurance product knowledge and insurance education – a plus!
  • Must obtain Property and Casualty Insurance License within 90 days of start date
